Yep , another drone.

I already have a small cinematic drone for those aerial shots and also a really small drone that can follow me that is great for close contact shots.

Meet the DJI AVATA 2 , This is a Cinematic FPV drone that is great for ripping around , fields , abandoned buildings etc. it comes with the headset allowing a first person view and is fast and nimble enough to get in and out of those nooks and crannies.

I think i’m gonna enjoy this …

A bit different to my usual drones, this one is voice controlled , it doesnt even need a remote control ( but i got one anyway).

this will follow me ( literally ) on my travels and will compliment my drone footage with close up shots and hard to access areas.

As i am fully licenced and also it being in the C0 cat , theres almost no restrictions on where i can fly this.

it can also become an FPV drone if i get the headset required , but thats for next year 😉

I had some spare time so printed a case for storage..

This news is over a week old but wanted to wait til mother and baby are home safely . i wont disclose any details on the internet other than they are both doing fine 🙂

Being diabetic , i got a Ninja Speedi today . does everything in one go. much healthier too if used properly.

Much better than those cheap carvery dinners 😉

My last hoover took a turn for the worse . luckily i could trade it in for £50 off this beast ..

I havent bothered uploading any footage for a while, i had sold my old drone as i was undergoing hospital appointments , doctors etc.

Although , im not in the best of health , i decided i wanted to get back to flying again .

I purchased a DJI Mini 3 , better camera , stronger wind resistance , and a built in screen on the controller so much easier now that i dont need to connect a phone anymore.

i still have an operator number and am allowed to fly with much less restrictions so ill be posting stuff pretty soon..

Not content with owning one 3dprinter , i got another a few months back.

However , Bambu Lab was celebrating their birthday and was offering deals i couldnt refuse.

Im now the proud owner of a bambu lab A1 , a bambu lab A1 mini and a Bambu lab P1S.

That should keep me entertained a while 🙂

Ive not been around again i know , its been a very bad year .

i’m usually upbeat and like to act the fool but this post wont be funny in the slightest.

Since my last update regarding my cancer scare , although i had the news that i was clear regarding the bladder cancer tests. Unfortunately my consultant had found i have an aortic aneurysm. i can deal with that at the moment , its 3.3cm in size ( should be 2cm) , however i wouldnt be considered for surgery until its in the 5.5cm range due to the risks involved. So with that im placed on a watch list and will have regular scans .

My Mother in law passed away . im not going to go into details on here , i wish to keep this private.

also , as if that wasnt enough , my brother also passed away last month … again , i prefer not to disclose any more details .

There is some better news i can report , my daughter is expecting her first child imminently so im gonna be a grandad or Pa !

hopefully ill now be around more to keep the site updated. im sorry for the downtime .
