Another day today at the computer. After finally changing my website host to a UK provider and changing the domain , all was left was to change my email address and update my contacts.

There was a lot of contacts , much coffee was consumed.

All done now though , until next time 😛

Its back to the cold weather again so i’m staying in the warm of my living room and looking to update/replace my webpage theme. There’s lots of choices so its gonna take some time to find one i like and will stick with so bear this in mind should you visit and everything looks different.

….Or i could just take the easy way out and hire a webpage designer 😛

I needed a UK data Center to host my site so i’m gradually moving everything over to Siteground.

Superb company , migrated my site over within minutes along with SSL and Private email. The site should propagate globally within hours , however this should not impact the site too much.

I was extremely impressed with the support as i had a few errors that was dealt with within minutes

Car Trouble

Car decided to ‘ no worky ‘  , luckily i have home start so RAC was with me within minutes.   seems my starter motor didnt wanna play anymore.

RAC mechanic so got me started and i headed to my local garage to have said starter motor replaced.   I was told it could take up to 2 weeks , however the guys at the garage had a spare slot and got my motor sorted within 24 hours.

Downside was i needed a new battery as well as the starter motor so had that replaced too .

All up and running now though 🙂

least it wasnt a write off like 3 cars near me  😛

Also , I have it booked into the garage for an oil and filter change tomorrow. may as well get it sorted before summer 🙂

KARMA REALLY DOES EXIST

I saw an incident yesterday involving two parties that are not , lets say , the most liked people on my street , Oh how i laughed ….. seems karma really does exist !

Had my results back from my recent diabetic eye screen test . no issues so i’m clear for another year !!

I received a giftcard to spend at my local supermarket today.

I was quite surprised as the amount was for £180 , needless to say my food cupboard is nicely stocked up ( as well as the fridge and freezer ). 🙂
