Its not been too bad a year. Certainly less hospital and doctors visits . health remains stable , Aorta hasnt increased in size so thats good news and im being watched on my other issues.

DRONES

New drone laws came into affect in 2026. As im registered with an A2COFC im allowed more freedom on where i can fly , but with the recent law changes , i can now fly all of my fleet in built up areas.

I added 2 drones to my fleet earlier in 2025 as i knew the change was coming 😛

SOLAR INSTALL

I had solar panels installed around September 2025. i’m already saving around £100 every 3 months, however as we come out of the worst of the weather period, this will jump dramatically and i should save a fortune.

…I was also awarded a £300 and £150 towards my Gas and Electricity bills so ive been able to keep warm and thats great if you take blood thinners.

There’s Lots more that happened last year but i think these was my best moments other than having my grandson to visit ( i wont include any info or pictures on this site for obvious reasons )

I already own a Ninja speedy , its great for steaming but i wanted the Ninja Foodie too as its great for quickly cooking full meals in one go. Its great , i honestly havent used my gas oven since Christmas.

Never brush the snow off your car using a yard brush lol. It may be lazy to do it that way , but it destroys your paintwork.

I went for my yearly scan a few days ago , i’m pleased to say it remains the the same size so i fight on another year !!.

I had my paperwork delivered today ( MCS and G98 ). This, along with the invoice allows me to sell any unused solar energy back to the grid ( my energy supplier ).

Even at this time of year , its producing enough energy to provide me with free electric throughout the day , however once i start to generate far more than i can use i can sell to the grid to cover any imported electric .

Bambu Labs have just released their latest 3d printer … the P2S.

Lots of Ai detection on these , and also the AMS is also a heater so dries the filament as you print.

Thats my 4th so i need a bigger house now lol.

I almost missed watching someone reverse out the drive today and dragging the rubbish bin across the road … good job i didn’t miss it !!

Those things around your car are used for seeing whats around you , good job there wasnt anyone walking past !

Time for some new blinds.

I chose these from Amanda for Blinds.

2 sets of waterproof ones for the kitchen and upstairs bathroom and 3 sets of blackout blinds for both bedrooms and stairs.

that should stop the nosey git staring in …. you know who you are 🙂

Its all finished ( has been for over 3 weeks but testing needed to be done. )

Layout changed as it was suggested a 2x3x5 panel setup would yield better results . I’ve also managed to get the data running into my home assistant setup as well as an app on my mobile and its looking great considering its Autumn / winter. its expected to save a third on my quarterly electric bill and will be much much more saved in the better months.

Scaffolding now in place and ready for panels to be installed shortly. 4 at the front 2 at the side and 4 at the back. that’s gonna save a few £££.

I will update with more photo’s once its installed and operational.

The new drone laws were announced yesterday by the CAA UK.

These will come into force from the start of next year and will allow me less restricted access to areas using my larger drones rather than just using my mini drones.

As i have A2 COFC certification and can also fly under article 16 already , This will give me even more access also than hobbyist operators.
