Scaffolding now in place and ready for panels to be installed shortly. 4 at the front 2 at the side and 4 at the back. that’s gonna save a few £££.

The new drone laws were announced yesterday by the CAA UK.

These will come into force from the start of next year and will allow me less restricted access to areas using my larger drones rather than just using my mini drones.

As i have A2 COFC certification and can also fly under article 16 already , This will give me even more access also than hobbyist operators.

After being given the wife’s blessing , ive ordered the Flagship drone from DJI .

The Mavic 4 pro.

As i now have my A2COFC certificate and can also fly under article 16 , this reduces the restrictions on where i can fly , so residential , industrial and recreational areas are available under certain conditions.

This will be my 6th drone so i need to stop ordering for a while as there wont be enough hours in the day

to fly them lol.

Ive changed my provider to Zen internet.

Although BT have been great , i can get much faster speeds with Zen and the router provided is future proofed for the next 3 years at least.

Im upgrading my drone controller to cover any later drones and also to get the extra features for the drones i have.

This one comes with a 7 inch rotational display , so much better clarity , a scrollwheel to make accessing the menu easier. much stronger powered antennas for further range as well as doubling up as a fully working android tablet.

Due to upgrading the computer , i decided to upgrade the whole setup entirely.

So i got a sit/stand desk and new chair with lumbar support to help with my back .

Its been a few years since i upgraded the computer. Things have moved on in the video editing world and ive now got home assistant to run every smart device in the house .

not only that , im doing a lot more with Ai as well , image manipulation , coding etc.

So although its not the very latest tech , its a far cry from the build i did a few years back.

AMD Ryzen 7700 cpu , Msi B650 Motherboard 1GB NVME , 32GB Corsair DDR 5 Ram. 850W PSU. 3 TB HDD.

Fans have been upgraded mainly due to age and im reusing my 360 radiator watercooling setup , im also using my old trusty case as its so easy to work with.

Much much quicker now..
